Scott and Darla

My name is Sonja and I was born and raised in Telluride, Colorado. As you can guess, I'm an avid outdoors(woman), skier, hiker, and runner. Through out my years as a kid in Telluride my family and I would be outside a lot. We camped out in the deserts in Moab and would ski 4 days a week, my dad excluded because he would ski 7. My heart belongs to the mountains. My favorite part about a mountain is when you actually begin to climb it and get close to it, it looks almost nothing like it did when you stand a distance away from it and look up. A mountain is so much more intricate and gigantic than we can guess until we're actually on it exploring. So there you go, this is my blog. The most typical topic I could have chosen, "lifestyle". But it'll be more than that, I'll share stories of my life events that I get reminded of everyday. I have a pretty normal story of who I am and how I came to be, but I don't have normal parents. They're two of the greatest people (in my opinion) and have allowed me to be who and what I am. Some days on here will be Darla days where I share journaling, crafting, and baking and some days will be about Scott where I hike, camp, run, and ski. But both of them together is who I am, so I'm not sure if this actually a lifestyle blog as much as it's a story. A story of my mom and dad, Scott and Darla Erickson who have taught me everything.
